So I recently acquired the new Dot Dot Curve album, Dead Beat (it took a lot of mission impossible type stunts), and I'm ready to review it. Please note that I will not give my opinion on songs I already reviewed.
Track one is an intro called Lost My iPhone, and it was weird, but DDC always has weird intros, however, considering the lyrics in this one, the next one will probably just be too weird.
Track two is called Where's My Pants, and I already talked about this one in my review of Pound Sign EP, which I will post a link to at the end.
Track three is called Zoom!, and it sounds like if Skrillex did Rocketship to the moon. If you know who Skrillex is, you'll get the reference.
Track four is called Bologna, and I already reviewed it.
Track five is called What Happened!? (The first really new song on the album), and I like it. The beat's good, the lyrics are good, my only real complaint is that the lyrics sound like a generic party song.
Track six is called seXXX, which is like Zoom!, but with Yea I'm The Sex, and they managed to drag it out to three minutes and twenty seconds, oh, and they actually used a full verse.
Track seven is called David Banner, and I already reviewed it.
Track eight is called StonerBoySwag, and I thought, did they really put that song on this album, but I soon found out, it's another remix, but they dragged it out to four minutes and thirty-six seconds.
Track nine is called Right Now, and I already reviewed it.
Track ten is called POPbottles, and basically, it's like Zoom!, but with Boys Pop The Bottles.
Track eleven is called Vampire ft. N!tro, and I already reviewed it.
Track twelve is called FreakGeekWithStretchedEarl0bes, and I already reviewed it.
Track thirteen is called PocketFullOfChange, and it's something I really would've liked to see on I'm Still Here, because it sounds like something that would be on that album, and it's really good. Great rapping, great beat, and some screaming too.
Track fourteen is called TearThisPlaceUp and it's like Zoom!, for what seems to be FreakGeekWithStretchedEarl0bes.
Track fifteen is called Tampax and I haven't reviewed this, but it isn't brand new. Now, this sounds like something that would be in a rap movie's soundtrack... only with gross subject matter. I like the rap verses, and the beat, but the chorus and the name, are kinda gross.
Track sixteen is called WTFamIthinking ft. Baybay, and it starts out with others joined in, and Baybay starts rapping, pretty good, and then chorus (who is that?), and then a Spanky verse, which sounds like a typical spanky verse. Overall this song was too short to be really good, but for what it was, I liked it.
Track seventeen is a remix of Rocketship to the moon, (a full one), and it starts out leaving you thinking WTF? It sounds like spanky's singing in a cave, considering the echo. It's basically a long Zoom!.
The eighteenth and final track is a remix of Yea I'm The Sex, and the beat sounds like it was made for a pop singer, but then gets better.
Overall, I was a little disappointed with Dead Beat, because it was basically an EP filled up with remixes, and songs we've heard a hundred times. But I don't blame Spanky, I believe that the fans are to blame. They wanted Dead Beat, and they wanted it now. But the thing is, Spanky can't release an album quickly for you and still make it good. If I had to choose, I'd wait and get a better album. And because we were so impatient, we got this. Thanks a lot, DDC fanbase.
Well, I'm glad this review is over, and I look forward to reviewing Marilyn Manson's Born Villain, and Linkin Park's Living Things, among other albums this year.
Oh, and BTW, here's the links to the reviews of songs off this that I already reviewed:

Lana Del Ray SNL performance - WTF?
I remember watching the recent SNL episode with Daniel Radcliffe hosting and loving it. However I skipped over the Lana Del Ray performance which is what I usually do if I don't know the artist or don't like them. In this case it was don't know. However, after hearing that the critics said she was terrible I decided, "That's it, the next time it comes on, I am watching Lana Del Ray. And I watched it a few minutes ago and I cannot for the life of me understand why people thought she was so bad. I mean of course she wasn't good, but no pop star is, and she was good for a pop star. She was better than me when I sing in the car and a delirious friend says, you should be on TV and I make the cut because Rage Against The Machine didn't show up. Just kidding, for a pop star, she was very good, and I have no idea why people think she was so bad. I'll be doing another review soon (possibly a follow-up to the Pound Sign EP review).

Revenge Of The... Pound Sign EP review!
Hey Guys, I know it's been a while since I've done a review on anything, but I haven't had much good stuff to review. However, 2012 is the year. Every so often there is a year where every artist you love releases an album, and for me, it's 2012. Now I know I'm late on this one, but I'm reviewing it off YouTube cuz I have no money to spend on iTunes, so here is my review of Pound Sign EP by Dot Dot Curve.
The first track is called Right Now, and I don't know who the guys at the beginning are, but I wanna hear more from them. Spanky is great in screaming and rapping, and it's more fast and upbeat than say, Fruit Rolled Up. The only problem I can see(hear) is that it ended too soon.
The second track is called Vampire Ft. N!tro, and it seems like another one of those where N!tro has a rap verse at the beginning, and the artist starts, but it's almost all N!tro. Also, since when does N!tro sing? This reminds me of What The Future Holds in the way that it should be on the featured artist's album, and not DDC.
The third track is called Where's My Pants? which seems to be the big one, and it starts out pretty good, but is too long. This one is more crunk than core and is a throwback to I'm Still Here, except more extremely hip hop. Also I do believe it was dragged out too long. In fact, I don't remember a single scream in this song, which only happened in Stoner Boy Swag, as I remember. Good, but not great.
The last song is called Bologna, and this one is fantastic. It gets you interested in the beginning, and just gets better. This is definitely my favorite on the EP. The combination of Spanky's rap, screaming, and the sick beat, create the kind of song, you don't want to end. This one definitely was a great way to end the EP. My only criticism, is that the repeated "I be goin' ham!" gets the slightest bit annoying.
Well another review done, I have no idea what I'll review next (hoping for Born Villain by Marilyn Manson), so stay tuned.

FTLD Holiday Double Feature Part 1: Forever The Living Dead - Survival Of The Illest review
Hey guys!
So I know it's been a while since I reviewed something, but I'm still recovering from that review of LIVE Backwards by JJ Demon. So I decided to do a holiday double feature on a band called Forever The Living Dead. Here's part 1, my review of Survival Of The Illest by Forever The Living Dead.
The first track is called Whomp Whomp! and it sounds like all their intros which sounds like Skrillex, but with other songs put in there, and honestly when that loud electronic part kicked in I was totally expecting a CALL 911 NOW!!! So yea, a pretty good way to start.
The second track is called Danger Ft. N!tro, and this is the second time I've heard N!tro rap this way, the first time being Fly Free by DDC, and what you don't suspect after this verse is an actual verse by the actual band (following Spanky's annoying as hell chorus on Fly Free), but then you hear "Yea it's green on the track so you all know what's up!" Pretty good verse by Green, and then Zero's verse is pretty good, but too much vocal effect so it doesn't even sound like him. And after the vocals end, you expect another "Fall back soldier you're always in danger" But no.
Track three is called Take The Picture, and it sounds unlike anything I've ever heard by FTLD ever! It sounds a little pop, and like something you'd hear on pop radio. Honestly, not something I'd listen to other than for the purpose of reviewing.
So, there was no track four on here for some reason, so skip directly to track five.
Track five is the first cover I've ever heard by FTLD and it's one of my favorite songs, "A Prophecy" by Asking Alexandria, and when it comes to screaming they weren't bad at all, but when it comes to singing, well, let me put it this way, I think this cover was more for the screaming, and the singing wasn't really the point of this cover, because the singing was not very good at all. I'll always prefer the Asking Alexandria version, but this wasn't a very bad version at all.
Track 6 is called Got No Time Fer My Haterz! with that annoying "Fer" you see a lot today, but the beat is amazing, and the lyrics are pretty sweet as well. The rap verses were really good, and to be honest, this song sounds like a better BOTDF.
Track 7 is a cover of a song called Down On Me by Jeremih Ft. 50 cent, And I think I probably like this version than the original cuz I hate 50 Cent. I really have nothing else to say about this song, except that they probably did more justice to this song than Jeremih and 50 cent did, because they did great.
Track 8 is called Why Do You Hate Me? Ft. Crunkasaurus and that first rap verse was amazing (the voice didn't sound like anyone from FTLD so I'll assume it's crunkasaurus), and for some reason after that verse it all of a sudden got slow, and then I think that's the chorus, then slow, then some awesome screaming, I think this song has everything, I've heard this song before, but I never realized how good it was until now. This song was faster at times than most FTLD songs too.
The ninth and final track on this is called Joker On Chronic ft. OhEmGee, and the chorus at the beginning, and OhEmGee verse was a great way to start the song and end the mixtape. Also I think Zero's first verse on this song, was his best on the whole mixtape. Also, did Green just insult Spanky of DDC for they way he screams? This mixtape ended in the perfect way.
Well, another review done, stay tuned on December first when I review the music video for FTLD's I Got Swag.

JJ Demon LIVE Backwards review UPDATE!!!
Okay, so now I know a few things I didn't know when I reviewed live backwards.
For one thing, the reason the songs sounded so emo, was because live backwards = EVIL.
And another thing, big choco, is big chocolate, the file name, did not say big chocolate, and that is where someone else screwed up, not me.
I still think this is a concept album, but I know now why the songs were so emo.
Thanks for understanding.

JJ Demon LIVE Backwards Review :)
Okay, so, I asked Zero from FTLD what I should review next, and he said JJ Demon's mixtape, LIVE Backwards. I first heard JJ Demon when I heard What's Good by DDC:). I liked him, so I joined his mailing list and got his song I'm Back, and I was hooked on JJ Demon, I also really like R.I.P. Everybody. But enough stalling, here is my review on live backwards by JJ Demon.
Track one is called The Rain, and while the lyrics are amazing, the song itself is kind of boring. And is it just me, or does this sound like an anti-religious song? I am not religious so I don't care, and it has the most amazing lyrics, that I don't care that it's boring.
Track two is called Growing Up So Fast and this song sounds more like a typical JJ Demon song. And is it just me, or is JJ Demon making more emo songs while looking less and less emo? I really like this song, and the beat is fantastic!
Track three is called Falling In Reverse featuring Potent Da Rockstar, and I half expected a cameo from Ronnie Radke, and as much as I love this song, I have a few problems with it. First of all, I had a hard time telling JJ and Potent apart, and second, I can hardly understand the chorus. Besides that I love this song. Both verses are great, and the beat is sick.
Track four is called Get Weird, and just from the beginning I knew this was gonna be a super emo song, and the chorus only reinforced that theory. The only part I didn't like was the "Let's go for a riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide" that part was just annoying. This was a good song, and I liked it.
Track five is called Young Hearts and honestly, this is starting to sound more and more like a concept album. I mean, with Growing Up So Fast and Young Hearts, and also, Get Weird and The Rain, these songs fucking connect. This is an okay song, but... it did get a little annoying. Now don't get me wrong, I like this song, but it gets the tiniest bit annoying.
Track six is called Play God, and between the endings connecting to the next song, and all the anti-religious songs, this is starting to sound even more like a fucking concept album. This is a great song and I love how the beat is so electronic, overall, great song. It could offend his christian fans though, oh, wait, what christian fans?
Track seven is called Bugs In My House, and I really don't get this song, I mean it could be a drug song, but I'm just not sure. It sounds like he wrote it while ON drugs. If that's true, then it's pretty good, for a drug song. Maybe it's just too deep for me to understand, but I like it (even though I have no fucking idea what it means!).
Track eight is called I'm In Here featuring Kyle Lucas and Syd Vicious, and I don't think it was a good idea to start a JJ Demon song with another guy rapping. I mean Dr. Dre didn't rap a lot on Kush, but at least he came on first! Then Finally after one long verse of Kyle Lucas, JJ Demon comes on and he ROCKS it!!!!
And the third verse... sucks! It's too gangsta for a JJ Demon song. I mean there's good rhymes in there, but he's yelling and it doesn't go with the soft beat.
Track nine is called 100 Bars Of Awesome Sauce, and I just don't get the name. I like the song and the rapping is great, but I don't get the name. It's just weird. But otherwise, the song is great. But I can't help wondering why there's no chorus. I love the choruses in his other songs, and I just wished there were a chorus in this song.
Track ten is called Purple Flip Flops featuring Big Choco, and this may just be the best song on the album (so far). I love the rhymes, I love the beat, the lyrics are fucking amazing. I dunno who Big Choco is, but I can't hear him on this track, but it's fine without him.
Track eleven is called Like A UFO featuring Mary Magdalan and N!tro, and I don't know who this Mary Magdalan chick is, but she's fucking amazing!!! I wish she has a bigger part. But JJ Demon has an amazing part too!!! And I love all the pop culture dissing. And this is the first time I've ever heard N!tro sing, and I like it (But his rapping is shitloads better!!!).
Track twelve is called Palpitate, and it seems like track ten and up is amazing!!! This isn't as good as Like A UFO, or Purple Flip Flops, but it's still amazing. My only problem is, at times, he raps to fast for me to understand, but that just means he's talented. I like that this song has multiple levels. And the only other problem I have is it gets a little repetitive.
Track thirteen is called Johnny, and I like how he raps so fast, yet it's still good. Fast rapping isn't always good rapping, and good rapping isn't always fast rapping, but this is fast rapping, and it's still good rapping!
The lyrics are good, the beat is okay, and the rhymes are amazing. My problem with this song, is it's too short. I'd like it if it were longer.
The fourteenth and final track is called We're All Dying Anyway, and this has got to be the most emo song on the album besides The Rain. It's good, but kinda boring, compared to Like A UFO and Purple Flip Flops (I know I keep praising those songs, but that's cuz they're the best on the album!!!). The rhymes are good, the lyrics are good, the beat is okay, and it was a good way to end the album.
Now here is a new part of my reviews
SPECS
Best song: Purple Flip Flops and Like A UFO
Worst Song: I'm In Here
Best Guest Apperance: Mary Magdalan on Like A UFO
Worst Guest Appearance: That Gangsta Guy (Syd Vicious?) on I'm In Here
Best Beat: Purple Flip Flops
Best Lyrics: Like A UFO
Best Rhymes: Johnny
Overall Rating: 8/10
